As I shared on Twitter, accessorized the RX1R II with a brass, soft-shutter release. The purpose of which…is well, I think it sparkles up my fav, new camera; and, if you’re not familiar with soft releases, they create a larger shutter button with more leverage that can be pressed faster and easier, with less camera shake. I’ve not had any issues with missed shots because of camera shake, but on a compact camera without built-in stablization, the added stability is welcome. I chose the Fotodiox from Amazon and you can find them for any camera. Some even have birds on them, if you’re into that.
