Orders of the Sony FE 28MM f/2 lens placed on Amazon are now shipping. We’ve just received confirmation that our order for our lens is en-route for delivery tomorrow. The official release date for the lens is May 5th, 2015, so orders placed on Amazon (and we presume B&H) for this lens are now departing Amazon’s warehouses for on-time delivery.
We will have sample images up from this lens as soon as we get it. If there are any types of images you’d particularly like us to capture, let us know in the comments.
We previously reported that DxO gave this lens incredibly high marks, ranking just behind several much more expensive Zeiss lenses.
