Red fringing is different that Chromatic Aberration and often found in shots with high contrast, such as a sunset or sunrise — it’s more like a lens flare. As we shared here, we had some issue with a Sony RX1R II (since fixed) and I didn’t want to throw those shots away or spend an inordinate amount of time in post removing the fringe. After a search and watching a few videos, Craig Stock’s tutorial is the best. He does it with a mask and by canceling out the red with cyan. While the video is from 2011, still relevant and saved me a ton of time.
