While not about Sony mirrorless cameras, this video is being discussed by photographers and our conclusion about what happened isn’t the same as the Canon ad people that made it. The setup is Canon asked six pros to shoot a portrait of the same person in the same location and each with a different back story. Each shot is totally different, but really the guy was a wonderful actor, and took on different persona for different shoots. The portrait photographers did what a good portrait shooter does. In a small amount of time, they asked him what he wanted from the shoot, and got clues from his acting. The ad makes it seem like they created different looks just based on the description of who he was. But that’s not the case.
What would’ve happened if the 6 were photographing the same persona?
