Ever since I started writing about and reviewing cameras, my friends and colleagues have asked me which camera to buy. Of course, I recommend the Sony Alpha Series — either a7R, A7S, or RX1R — and the new Fuji in the costs-as-much-as-a-new bike category. For a budget camera though, the Sony Alpha a6000 is the best value in mirrorless. At about $600 (on sale) that leaves budget to get a couple new lenses too. As I told my friend with the old Nikon film camera, def keep and shoot with that, but also modernize to a mirrorless and save all that DSLR weight for your travels….
