My edit, an RX100 V Highlight Reel, is up on Digital Photo Pro’s YouTube this morning. I took the little camera coast to coast, the midwest, and to Maui. I didn’t expect a pocket, all-in-one camera to produce images and movies quite like it did.
What I liked was the image quality, what I didn’t was the long boot time.
It’s a vacation and travel camera for sure, but also as I learned, quite a bit more and once again indicates Sony’s sensor prowess in the market. After using it for a few months, the RX100 V is the camera I recommend the most to friends and family.
If you’re thinking about getting one, don’t hesitate, it’ll meet your expectations and more. Just don’t expect to get a shot in a hurry.
