The Sony a7II has built-in five-axis image stabilization, which Sony claims results in dramatically better photos and videos. In this test video, F8 Photography mounted a manual lens on the Sony a7II and handheld it aboard motorcycles, boats and while walking down the street.
Because the a7II can only perform five-axis stabilization with specific lenses, the camera only captured this video with three-axis stabilization, but it’s still an amazing display of how smooth the video can be from a stabilized camera.
