Digital Trends has posted their review of the Sony a7II, and not surprisingly, they love it. Writer David Elrich profiled the camera and the subhead just about says it all. “Sony set a sky-high bar with the A7, and the new one just punched through it.”
Like many reviewers, Elrich felt that the camera fell a bit short in the area of burst shooting and autofocus on sports subjects, but otherwise raved about the camera.
For a $400 price premium over its predecessor, Sony’s A7 Mark II, with improved performance and stellar image stabilization, is worth it.
The review is excellent and a good read for people considering purchasing the newest member of the Sony a7 series.
