Sony a9 at the PGA Championships

After a good run this summer of glowing reviews, Sony is re-emphasizing the a9 as a sports shooter with a story today on Alpha Universe about the role it played at the 2017 PGA Championship.

Carrying two a9 bodies ($4498.00 on Amazon), a 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 G Master ($2498.00 on Amazon), 70-200 f/2.8 G Master ($2598.00 on Amazon) and a 24-70mm f/2.8 G Master ($2198.00 on Amazon) throughout the event, Montana Pritchard was able to capitalize on the cameras’ unique combination of silence and speed to document each key moment.

Read the Alpha Universe article to learn how Pritchard uses the a9. Also, I just got done shooting with the 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 G Master and that story is being written.
