I’ll interrupt our normal programming for this short RIP Bowie vignette…

Last week, we’re at yet another CES Vegas corporate party, and the venue has photos of Sammy Hagar plastered all over the walls. The blasé wait staff is serving a fusion of blackened Tex-Mex with over-sugared Tequila, while the DJ plays 25 years of music to remind us of the cultural impact of the Canon Rebel. A few hits in, Let’s Dance comes on.

Hadn’t seen that video in years, since MTV stopped playing music. Danced a little two step, sipping a Negro Modelo, while David Schloss introduced me to more influentials in the camera space.

If you should fall into my arms
And tremble like a flower.

Outside the Strip was lit with a, “Serious moonlight,” and David found beauty on the strip with his RX1R II.
