Dive Photo Guide is reporting that camera housing company Subal has announced a watertight housing for the a7 system. The housing is listed as working with the a7S and a7R, though we suspect the original a7 would work with the system as well.
The housing will function down to 80m (the company says that an option will allow it to work at 12m). The housing is about 3.5 pounds, but it nearly neutral in water, depending on the port and accessories. The housing will cost about
€2700, and will be available in black, white, red and blue.
