Writing for USA Today, Jefferson Graham reviews Sony’s RX10 III. My take on Sony’s megazoom camera was published by Shutterbug earlier this month. Mr. Graham and I agree it’s a great zoom, with a high price tag compared to other cameras in the category, but as a fan of Sony, I think the premium is worth it for the image quality. Especially, in the step-up market, where a photographer wants better photos than their smartphone provides.
…It’s got everything a photographer could dream of, in a semi-compact body that’s bigger than smartphone or point and shoot, but way lighter and smaller than a bulky DSLR. There’s the full range of focal lengths, manual controls, fast focus and terrific video quality that records in 4K ultra-HD resolution, and has built-in image stabilization to steady the shot.
My daily shooter is Sony A1 with a vertical grip and various Sony lenses attached like the FE 20mm F1.8. Find more gear recommendations in our shop. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
