The Sony a7s is a dream camera for cinematographers, thanks to the camera’s sensitivity and the ability to record 4k video. This demo reel by F-Stop Academy is a great example of the smooth film-like quality of the a7s. To capture portions of the video Den Lennie from F-Stop Academy connected the camera to a drone, and the smoothness of the footage is impressive. (It makes us wonder what an a7sII would look like, should one show up with image stabilization.)
