The staff at DPReview.com received an invitation to tour the Sigma factory in Alzu, where the company manufacturers all of their lenses. The resulting slideshow looks at the process of creating lenses, starting with shipments of glass and ending up with the optics we all use. It’s a great behind-the-scenes look at something we don’t get to see, as the Japanese companies are pretty protective about their proprietary manufacturing processes.
