Legendary optics maker Carl Zeiss has announced a new program that provides discounts for students and educators. Discounts range from $100 to $400 and cover a wire range of Zeiss optics in a variety of mounts.
For Sony photographers, discounts are available on Loxia lenses, which are manual focus lenses designed for the Sony a7 series of cameras, and Touit lenses for NEX systems.
There are also lenses available for EF and F mounts, which can be used with Sony cameras using an adapter.

Students enrolled full-time in an accredited photography program in the United States. A copy of your current and valid school issued ID is needed as well as a copy of your current curriculum, class schedule or transcript. Schools including universities, colleges, technical trade schools, photographic trade schools and high schools who specialize in or have specific courses, or a curriculum, which are devoted to photographic training and/or photographic fine arts education. Educators who teach photography in one of the above school categories. You must be a US based educator or student in an accredited photography, graphic design, audio, new media at a collegiate-level institution (High School Educators of approved programs are also eligible).

How to Apply
Complete the ZEISS Education Program Registration form. Upload a copy of your school ID and current class schedule here. Once your application has been approved, you will receive a certificate that entitles you for the student discount. The discount can be claimed with one of our authorized ZEISS dealers.
