Sigma’s First Short Film 'blur'

blur, the first short film shot with Sigma’s cinema lenses, has emotional depth, compelling imagery, and impassioned narration. It tells the story of a father’s love for photography, and how that love both binds his family – the past, present and future – and, at times, drives them apart.

It was just selected for LA Shorts International Film Festival which ranks among the most prestigious and largest international short film festivals in the world.

Watch the film above and learn more about it from Sigma. Here’s a behind the scenes short too and a story about the cast and crew.

We just so happen to have Cine zoom lenses in too and are working on our own short about a topic in the Seattle area. The Sigma cine lenses are connected to an a7s with their MC-11. Read about the 50 here.
