If you’re a fan of Sony’s a7 system, you’re going to like this video of Sony accessory recommendations from Sony Artisan Associate photographer Patrick Murphy-Racey.
Murphy-Racey outlines his favorite tools to expand the Sony a7 system, and we really agree with his assessment about the areas where the a7 system can be enhanced with a few choice selections. (Links to purchase these products are below.)
We were particularly thrilled at his recommendation for the dual battery charger with digital display, which is a vast improvement over the single-battery charger I carry around on regular shoots.
Patrick Murphy-Racey covered hundreds of photography assignments for Sports Illustrated with four covers credited to his name. Author of two photography books to date with one in process, currently working with corporate and editorial clients and teaching lighting and video production at various workshops.
(As a bit of full disclosure, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Patrick Murphy-Racey during my years at Photo District News.)
You can find out more about Murphy-Racey on his Vimeo channel, on Sony’s Artisans page, and on his own website.
