The movie is shot through the POV of the ghost. Here’s the trailer
And, a review
“Prescence is a one location horror movie viewed from the perspective of a ghost. Is Presence Scary? No, is Presence actually a horror movie? Not really, is presence intriguing? Yes.
When a family moves to a new home, youngest child Chloe feels a presence. But what is the Presence and who if anybody will believe her? Presence is a family drama that explores the dynamic between husband, wife, daughter and son. It touches on topics such as achievement, favouritism, teen romance and of course ghosts.
Whilst the movie initially builds tension with its sound design and POV camera angle, the tension fades as we learn more about the presence. The 1 hour 25 minute runtime was welcomed however there were many threads that were not fully explored. The final act brings the movie full circle but the execution and payoff doesn’t quite stick the landing.
Presence is an interesting concept that brings us moments of tension and intrigue but it didn’t live up to its billing as one of the scariest horror movies of the year.”
