Not a lot of photographers get the opportunity to photograph New York City from a helicopter, but if you get the chance, be sure to watch this video from Parisian photographer and cinematographer Ramelli.
Even if you don’t get a chance to shoot from a chopper, the video is a great tutorial on shooting at low light in difficult situations, and Ramelli displays his post-process workflow steps as well.

…In this episode I will show you the best settings that I used to shoot New York from the sky in a helicopter. This is something very difficult due to low light, the speed and movement. I don’t think it was possible to get this quality of photo, with such little noise, before cameras that are as good as the Sony A7s came out.
