Sony Camera Remote Toolkit

Sony Camera Remote Toolkit has been updated. The new firmware updates have been released for the Camera Remote Toolkit, boosting remote-control flexibility and expanding compatibility with more camera models. These updates include Version 1.13 of the Camera Remote SDK and Version 2024.1.0 of the Camera Remote Command, providing content creators with greater creative options and enhanced remote-control capabilities for Sony’s professional handheld digital cinema cameras and Alpha interchangeable lens cameras.

With these updates, users gain improved video workflows, background file transfer, recorded video previews, and advanced exposure synchronization. The updates also add support for additional camera models and bring remote emulation, enabling remote display of camera information. Additionally, specific models like the ILX-LR1 now support remote firmware updates.
