Just like the a7 III price drop of last week, the Sigma Black Friday promotion starts now. Sony shooters can save up to $250 on Sigma Art lenses and $100 off the MC-11 converter. I’ve been converting my legacy Canon glass with the MC-11 since it was launched 3 years ago. Any lens mount converter is a bit slower than a native mount, but all the features of your Sony body will work.
Sigma Black Friday Promotion Detail
- 35mm F1.4 DG HSM Art—MSRP $899; on sale for $649. Sigma’s best-selling Art lens, perfect for a high-quality, wide-angle perspective on landscapes, portraits, still-lifes, close-ups and casual snaps. I’ve shot with the 35/f1.4 connected to the MC-11 since it was launched in 2016.
- 50mm F1.4 DG HSM Art—MSRP $949; on sale for $829. A higher standard of excellence, re-engineered for high megapixel DSLRs. Expect excellent image quality.
- 85mm F1.4 DG HSM Art—MSRP $1,119; on sale for $999. Super-resolution sharpness, and beautiful bokeh blur come together to stir the artist’s soul. This is for the bokeh.
The Sigma Black Friday promotion runs from now until through December 5, 2019. Take advantage of the promotion directly from Sigma, a dealer near you, Adorama or B&H. Of the three lenses on sale, I recommend the 35 F1.4.
That’s my most-used lens. Attach that to the a7 III and you’re shooting mirrorless for under $3K.
…My daily shooter is Sony A1 with a vertical grip and various Sony lenses attached like the FE 20mm F1.8. Find more gear recommendations in our shop. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
