The Sony a7 III Black Friday sale is back for 2019. And, it’s the best deal in mirrorless; especially, when paired with a lens like the Sony 24-105mm F4 G OSS that is also on sale.
Sony a7 III

The immensely-popular award-winning Sony a7 III will have an Instant Rebate of $200 off the regular list price of $1999.99 on Amazon, making the Sony a7 III $1799.99. This rebate applies to both body-only purchases, as well as select kits.
Sony 24-105mm F4 G OSS

The popular Sony 24-105mm F4 G OSS lens features the largest rebate, $200, bringing the $1399.99 Amazon price to $1199.99.
Of all the items on sale, I recommend the a7 III for the best value in mirrorless and when paired with the 24-105, you’re into a do-everything well mirrorless setup for just under $3K. In addition, the next best value for full-frame shooters is the a9 at $3498. The price dropped $1K after the a9 II was announced.
As I wrote when the a7 III launched, Sony believes photographers should expect more from a $2000 camera. The basic model, as they call it, offers arguably more technology and image quality than any other camera lens in this class.
That’s because Sony’s tech doesn’t compromise.

The sale price also leaves more money in your pocket for lenses. The a7 III is a lot of camera for the money and redefines what to expect from the basic model. On a budget and considering a mirrorless upgrade, there’s just no other comparable body from any manufacturer.
Understanding how disruptive mirrorless technology is, I still come back to the weight being a standout feature. I was a mirrorless early adopter because I travel and ride bicycles and continuously reducing what I pack. There just isn’t a compromise with the a7 III.

My daily shooter is Sony A1 with a vertical grip and various Sony lenses attached like the FE 20mm F1.8. Find more gear recommendations in our shop. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
